NTT Communications, known as NTT Com declared that its division PT. NTT Indonesia unveiled its own fiber-optic network service in the East Jakarta Industrial Park near Jakarta on March 5.
The service implements a fiber-optic network created and owned by NTT Indonesia, through which multinational customers, located industrial park will utilize premium, large-capacity fiber-optic access lines to communicate with their global offices or global cloud platforms through NTT Indonesia's accessible location.
Furthermore, NTT Indonesia anticipates constructing, operating and maintaining fiber-optic networks in Indonesia’s other sites such as office facilities and industrial parks. The application for data network and cloud services has been increasing owing to the demand for reliable, expertise network services in Indonesia for global expansions.
A local subsidiary of NTT Indonesia, PT. Terasasih Sejahtera has earned the license for Local Fixed Network with Cable Basis and Packet Switched in December 2011. NTT Indonesia is the first foreign telecommunication carrier to receive this license, which enables it to provide end-to-end network services by employing its own fiber-optic access lines.
Following the launch of the fiber-optic network, NTT Indonesia will provide advanced network services for its customers, and operating with Indonesian telecommunications companies will establish highly-efficient domestic networks. NTT Indonesia solutions with expertise, large-capacity domestic network including multiple ICT services will greatly benefit the multinational companies in Indonesia.
