Telops has assigned the Motion Engineering Company as its authorized sales representative. Telops is a provider of hyperspectral imaging systems and high- performance infrared cameras for industrial, security, defense and environmental applications.
The Motion Engineering Company provides products and services for the high-speed imaging market. It represents technology related to high-speed imaging products, their accessories, high-speed video and high-speed cameras.
Telops is proficient in the design process and in the production of high-performance cooled infrared cameras, including the Telops HD-IR 1280 and FAST-IR 1000. This expertise will aid the Motion Engineering Company in the field of opto-electronic systems.
The companies signed the agreement on November 2, 2011. The formal agreement will establish Telops’ position in the USA, and will develop Telops’ business relationships in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Telops’ VP for Sales and Marketing, Paul Chabot, stated that the partnership with the Motion Engineering Company will enable Telops to extend its reach in the USA. The company shared Telops’ passion for advanced high-speed imaging, he added.
Motion Engineering Company’s President, Ron Jones, expressed his pleasure at the partnership for representing Telops’ high performance infrared imaging products. This added product line will help cater to clients whose applications were not met by conventional high-speed imaging, he added.
