GE Lighting Unveils Infusion LED Modules for Light-Critical Applications

GE Lighting has introduced a new line of LED modules called Infusion LED module series that expands the design options and enhances the aesthetic appeal of light-essential customer areas.

The easy-to-install LED modules are offered in color rendering index choices of 80 and 90, in color temperatures of 4000, 3000 and 2700 K, and lumen packages of 3000, 2000, 1500 and 1000 lm. They can be turned on and dimmed instantly. All these features make the LED illumination solutions suitable for light-critical customer areas such as office, museum and retail locations.

The Infusion LED modules are also suitable for accent, track, down lighting and spotlighting. The evenly sized, completely replaceable modules when integrated with effective luminaire design offer better illumination output than most of the CFL, ceramic metal halide and halogen systems.

The Infusion LED module line offers controllable, reliable, less maintenance and easy-to-upgrade LED solutions. It provides a turn–and-lock fit like a normal light bulb, eliminating the requirement of extra tools.

According to the Product Manager of GE Lighting’s LED Indoor Lighting, Joshua Gildea, the Infusion module can be replaced even after the installation of luminaires, allowing the merchandisers to differentiate beam angles and color temperatures by exchanging modules.
