Epson Launches PowerLite X9 Projector with 3LCD Technology

Imaging company, Epson has launched a new projector for small and medium-sized conference rooms as well as classrooms. The PowerLite X9 delivers a white and color light output of 2,500 lm for bright and comprehensive presentations.

The projector incorporates the 3LCD, 3-chip technology and provides enhanced detail and color required for powerful presentations. The technology offers an energy-saving light engine that utilizes the available illumination to produce enhanced images. The 3LCD needs 25% minimal electricity per lumen of brightness compared to 1-chip DLP technology.

The PowerLite X9 uses Epson's E-TORL lamp technology to increase the presentation time by enabling a maximum lamp life of 5,000 h in economy mode. It offers +/-30° automatic vertical keystone correction and 1.2x optical zoom to enable convenient and simple design in multiple classroom environments. In addition, the projector features Direct Power On and Off function that allows the system to be switched off with the help of a wall switch. In addition, the Instant On/Off allows teachers to reduce unnecessary delays during presentations.
