Planar Systems announced that its Runco D-73d 3Dimension Series projector was named as the official projector for the Annual 3D Creative Arts Awards Show.
The International 3D Society, which held the awards show, honored the year’s best advertisements, videogames, television shows, and 3D movies.
Planar Systems, as an awards sponsor, collaborated with other 3D developers such as AutoDesk, Discovery Communications, The Walt Disney Studios, Sony Corporation of America, PIXAR, and DreamWorks Animation, and acknowledged the achievements of the 3D innovators in media and storytelling.
Planar’s Runco projectors create displays that are crucial for developing 3D content and the Runco brand has been recognized for its D-73d 3Dimension Series projector. 3D artists depend on the company’s StereoMirror, a series of stereoscopic monitors, for post-production work where compatibility and color precision is important. The 3Dimension D-73d home theater projector can also be combined with passive glasses to generate an exceptional viewing experience.
