Trumpf Introduces Disk Lasers for Drilling and Edge Stripping Applications

Trumpf announced the launch of a new range of lasers that are ideal for edge stripping, drilling, ablation, structuring, and cutting.

7050 Laser Device

The TruMicro Series 7000 lasers feature a maximum power of 750 W and provide enhanced productivity in microprocessing.

The 7050 disk laser, measuring 1460 × 1350 × 730 mm, functions at a wavelength of 1030 nm with 30 ns pulse duration. The laser’s minimum and maximum repetition rates are 5 and 100 kHz respectively with a maximum pulse energy of 80 mJ. It consumes 5 kW of power and has a cooling water temperature range from 5 to 20 °C. The laser device features a combination of beam quality and pulse length for remote processing purposes. The device’s minimum diameter laser light cable is 400 µm.

The 7250 laser device features an average power of 400 W and operates at a wavelength of 515 nm. It has a maximum pulse energy of 10 mJ and a pulse duration of 300 ns. The device’s power consumption and repetition rates are the same as the 7050 disk laser device. The minimum diameter of the laser light cable of the instrument is 100 µm.
