Cree Introduces Energy-Efficient Cree LMR2 LED Module for Commercial Applications

LED lighting specialist, Cree has expanded its LED module portfolio with the introduction of the Cree LMR2 LED Module, a small and ultra-efficient module that enables illumination producers and designers to develop high-quality LED lighting.

The Cree LMR4 LED Module, which was previously launched, now comes in four color temperatures such as 4000 K, 3500 K, 3000 K and 2700 K. All modules use the Cree TrueWhite Technology.

The LMR2 LED Module is also based on the Cree TrueWhite Technology and can be used for a number of applications including retail, hospitality and restaurant lightings where ultra efficiency and color rendering index (CRI) are needed. It features a 2.25 " hole that enables enhanced design flexibility for sconces, wall washers, pendant lighting and compact aperture downlights.

The LMR2 LED Module offers 650 lm at color points of 4000 K, 3500 K, 3000 K and 2700 K with a CRI of 90. It can be dimmable to 5% and has a lifespan of 35,000 h. It offers a complete solution with optics, thermal management and driver electronics. Luminaire producers also have the choice to incorporate a uniquely designed heat sink for ultra-heat applications such as downlights.
