Acuity Brands Launches Energy-Efficient Petrolux LED Luminaires with Universal Mount Option

Acuity Brands has launched new LED luminaires that address the requirement for a reliable LED lighting solution for adverse environments.

The Holophane Petrolux LED luminaires meet the rigorous needs for various lighting applications such as biodiesel and ethanol production facilities, textile, pulp and paper, petro-chemical, power generation and waste water treatment.

The Petrolux LED luminaires feature Endural borosilicate glass that offers uniform vertical and horizontal lighting to improve safety, productivity and visibility. The LED luminaires are provided with narrow and long symmetric light distribution. They also have a thermal management system that enhances the reliability of the luminaire. The light engine efficiently transfers thermal energy and provides an operational time of over 70,000 h.

The luminaires’ Universal Mount option allows stanchion, ceiling, wall and pendent mounting. This feature decreases replacement and installation expenditures and removes the requirement for ordering numerous mounting configurations. The luminaires have an outer aluminum housing and an electrical enclosure that protects against rough elements.
