AFL has rolled out a new mid-range fiber cleaver series for mechanical splices and field installations. The CT-10A and the CT-11A cleavers offer enhanced cleaving at an affordable price.
AFL single-fiber cleaver
The CT-11A single fiber cleaver has a factory adjustment of 8° and cleaves an optical fiber at a maximum of 9°. It is suitable for angled cleaving applications as well as for FTTH installers and individuals who work in extreme environments.
The CT-10A fiber cleaver provides accurate cleaves and offers an easy, one-step operation. It cleaves single fibers with 0.5° average angles and is available with an optional scrap collector.
The lightweight cleavers cleave 900 and 250 µm fibers and include a blade that can be conveniently replaced. In addition, both cleavers can be adjusted and operated easily.
