BaySpec Unveils Portable Raman Microscope for Real-Time Spectral Data Acquisition

BaySpec, provider of fiber-optic modules, announced that it has rolled out the MovingLab Portable Raman Microscope that features Volume Phase Grating (VPG).

The microscope is available in 1064, 785, and 532 nm wavelengths. The unit’s optimal detector cooling feature enables significantly enhanced low-light spectral measurements and provides an improvement of greater than 10x in the signal/noise performance.

The cost-efficient MovingLab microscope is portable and rugged and provides real-time spectral data acquisition. It needs minimal calibration and functions for a very long time. The microscope has a Li-Ion battery and a single 5 V power supply design. The device is also available on custom wavelengths upon request.
