LASER COMPONENTS Launches Optical Coatings with IBS Technology

LASER COMPONENTS has launched a new coating technology for difficult coating applications.

IBS coatings

The Ion beam sputtering (IBS) coatings are useful in producing the required layer thickness with high reproducibility and precision.

The IBS coatings create smooth, optically homogeneous layers because of large kinetic energy generated during layer deposition. The process offers low deposition rate, thereby producing drift-free layers.

LASER COMPONENTS will add more number of products into its product line. The new products will include low-dispersion coatings featuring reflection coefficients of R greater than 99.99%, and steep filter coatings for use in high-power applications.
