Modulight Launches OEM Laser Systems for Medical Applications

Modulight announced that it has launched a new set of OEM laser systems that are ideal for industrial and medical applications. The laser systems generate a maximum optical power of 1.5 W. They cover most of the traditional wavelengths between 635 and 1550 nm.

Laser System

Standard configuration of the laser system is based on the Modulight Butterfly unit choices. It also includes an external modulation interface and an integrated laser cooler, controller, and driver. The laser systems are offered in various wavelengths and maximum powers such as 635 nm, 500 mW; 650/665 nm, 750 mW; 808 nm, 1.5 W; 940/980 nm, 1.5 W; and 1470/1550 nm, 500 mW.

The Product Line Manager of Modulight, Sampsa Kuusiluoma stated that by using the OEM platform for single-emitter lasers, customers would benefit from the large wavelength range, in-house customization potential, and existing versatile design.
