Calmar Develops Cazadero Fiber Laser for Optical Metrology Applications

Calmar laser, a developer of fiber laser solutions, has launched the new Cazadero fiber laser chirped-pulse amplifier (FLCPA) that offers energy pulses greater than 10 ìJ, at a wavelength of 1030 nm.

Cazadero FLCPA

The Cazadero fiber laser features a SESAM oscillator that ensures long-term stability, a Gaussian beam profile, and a pulsewidth of less than 600 fs. It is suitable for applications such as Ti: sapphire amplifiers, terahertz radiation studies, optical metrology, multi-photon microscopy, nanolithography, and biophotonics.

The Cazadero fiber laser has good pulse-to-pulse stability that delivers well-defined process control. Its low pedestal pulse shape provides optimal peak power. Convenient operation is ensured because of the device’s user-friendly turn-on process. The fiber laser’s air-cooled design assures easy integration and installation. The Cazadero FLCPA is ideal for product applications such as ultrafast laser spectroscopy, nonlinear optical studies, biomedical imaging, nanomaterials processing, micromachining, and precision surgery.
