Fiber-optic component supplier, Alliance Fiber Optic Products (AFOP) has announced that Forbes has rated it amongst the most trustworthy companies in the nation, for the year 2010. Audit Integrity, a financial analytics firm, has conducted the survey for Forbes. The survey analyzes the companies that traded in the U.S. exchanges.
The survey recognizes the companies that adhere to the conservative and transparent accounting practice, and firm corporate management and governance. Only a few public companies were included in the Audit Integrity’s list of the most dependable companies.
AFOP designs and produces fiber-optic components. The company’s products are used in delivering optical networking systems to the last mile, metropolitan, enterprise, and long-haul access communication network segments. The passive optical components, produced by the company, include thin-film DWDM modules, variable and fixed optical attenuators, splitters, couplers, and interconnect systems.
