INVENIO from Bruker

Bruker’s INVENIO is an entry level R&D FTIR spectrometer designed to handle challenging analytical and R&D applications. This advanced technology and smart design set the standards for the next generation of FTIR spectrometers. The unique optical beam path provides wide spectral range covering FIR to UV/Vis, superior signal-to-noise ratio, and maximum flexibility for advanced experimental set-ups.

Integrated Touch Panel

The in-built touch panel is optionally available to handle R&D basic tasks and can be tilted flexibly and moved linearly. An exclusive OPUS Touch R&D software is installed in the panel PC for streamlining work flow and intuitive operation. Furthermore, the OPUS TOUCH can also be worked on external mobile touch pads, which are available with Bruker. In case of high-end R&D applications, a desktop PC can also be linked.

MultiTect Detector Technology

Bruker’s state-of-the-art MultiTect™ detector technology for up to five room temperature detectors, such as MIR or FIR DTGS, Si diode, InGaAs, or GaP, enables to cover the whole spectral range from FIR to UV/Vis. An extra DigiTect™ user exchangeable detector position allows for usage of LN2 cooled, quick, high gain or other special detectors.

Transit Measurement Channel

The INVENIO can be optionally configured with a second transmission channel for quick and convenient mid IR measurements, such that for example, bulky research arrangements in the main compartment do not have to be removed. The Transit™ channel includes an exclusive MIR DTGS board level detector. Along with MultiTect™ and DigiTect™ technology, the INVENIO can be fitted with up to seven software selectable internal detectors.

Spectral Range Extension

To cover the whole spectral range from 15 cm-1 to 28,000 cm-1, the INVENIO can be optionally fitted with light sources, several beamsplitters, and detectors. Due to the permanently aligned RockSolid™ interferometer, the unique MultiTect™ detector technology, the multiple external and internal source positions, and the optics prepared for numerous spectral ranges, changing spectral range is an extremely easy task.

Unique Bruker FM Technology

The Bruker FM far and mid IR technology comprises the unique ultra-wide range beamsplitter and the comprehensive range DTGS detector. In a single measurement, with the basic internal IR source and without the need to swap optical components, the total far and mid IR spectral range from 6000 cm-1 to 80 cm-1 is accessible. This novel technology has vital advantages for a range of applications, for example, inorganic and metal organic chemistry, color pigments and paints, pharmaceuticals, polymorphs and crystallinity, polymer fillers, geology, and many more.

Next Generation Intelligent R&D Spectrometer

The advanced instrument design of the INVENIO includes many significant features, such as improved QuickLock for easy accessory exchange, eight pos. filter wheel for validation and customer specific optical filters, automated internal five pos. attenuator wheel for very sensitive detectors, electronically coded windows using magnetic mount, upgradability for whole spectral range, and robust electronics unit with individual CPU for many future options.
