Spire Corporation,
a global solar company providing turnkey solar factories and capital equipment
to manufacture photovoltaic (PV) modules worldwide, today announced that it
has entered into a multi-year, multi-system contract to provide key module line
equipment to Trina Solar Limited (Trina Solar) of the People's Republic of China.
Spire will provide Trina Solar with multiple Spi-Sun Simulator™ 4600
Single Long Pulse (4600 SLP) systems. The 4600 SLP is the world’s leading
solar simulation system. It is unique as it is the choice in research, testing,
and high volume production. The 4600 SLP has recently been selected for use
at research and certification test facilities, such as the National Renewable
Energy Laboratory and Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.
