Ultra-Tech Lighting and PureSpectrum have signed a letter of intent to unite the companies through a transaction. The transaction will allow both the companies to take advantage of the common product development strategies for maximum penetration into the lighting market. The companies will also explore the benefits that can be achieved with this transaction.
PureSpectrum markets and sells energy-efficient dimmable lighting, whereas Ultra-Tech has introduced energy-efficient industrial lighting that are technology-driven. Both the companies are committed to develop and introduce energy-efficient lighting products that fulfill consumer’s demand. They both have a market-driven approach for developing products.
PureSpectrum has launched new dimmable fluorescent ballasts for the commercial lighting market, and dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamps for the residential market. Ultra-Tech supports Magnetic Induction Lighting (MIL) technology that decreases cost of energy to a maximum of 70%. Ultra-Tech offers various support services such as cost/benefit analysis prior to installation, and technical consulting after installation. The MIL products from Ultra-Tech include tunnel lights, floodlights, high and low bay lights, and streetlights.
