Advanced Energy Systems (AES) is a privately held company founded in September 1998 and incorporated in the State of New York. The company was formerly an operating group of the Northrop Grumman Corporation. Since its inception AES, whose principal product line is advanced radiation sources utilizing accelerator technology, has evolved to become the leading commercial provider of high-brightness photocathode injectors and the only US supplier of superconducting accelerator components. The Company is located in Medford, New York, and Princeton, New Jersey. The Medford site houses a numerical control (NC) prototype machine shop, a class 100 clean room, a chemistry processing facility and co-ordinate measurement capability.
