Thermal Vision Automotive Development Kit (ADK) FLIR ADK™

The FLIR ADK™ provides a cost-effective solution to the development of next generation automotive thermal vision for autonomous vehicles (AV) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). For pedestrian detection, thermal infrared cameras are ideal for reliably classifying people in cluttered environments and supplying analytics the crucial information required for making automated decisions.

FLIR thermal imagers are proven. They have aided drivers in seeing much further than their high beams for over a decade – night, day, through most fog, smoke and haze, and past the glare of sun low on the horizon or oncoming headlights.

The ADK’s rugged, IP67-rated enclosure incorporates a heated window for driving in all weather conditions and the Boson™ thermal sensor is a fraction of the size of current night vision systems.

Installation is plug-and-play easy with Ethernet, GMSL, USB, and FPD-Link interfaces. The thermal data stream ports easily into existing host platforms for processing, recording and analytics. Numerous field of view configurations are available to meet different integration requirements and various operational design domains.
