Alma Lasers Launches Advanced Diode Laser Technology

Laser manufacturer, Alma Lasers has rolled out a new medical laser, Soprano(XLi) for deep dermal heating and laser hair removal. The device integrates Alma's IN-Motion technology, intuitive interface, and intense power to deliver virtually painless and quick procedures with effective and safe clinical results.

The Soprano(XLi) utilizes an 810 nm diode laser for hair removal, and features a large 12-inch full color touch screen monitor along with new interactive software. The laser treats all skin types, such as tanned skin, enabling physicians to provide virtually painless treatments continuously.

The diode module of the laser features a 12x10 mm footprint and exhibits a maximum repetition rate of 10Hz, allowing the laser to deliver a quick procedure time. The high repetition rate and low fluence of the Soprano(XLi) allow it to produce energy gently and safely to heat the hair follicles and dermis. The Near Infrared module of the laser can be utilized to treat strains, minor sprains, muscle spasms, stiffness, joint pain, and minor muscle pain.
