Applied Precision has introduced innovative microscopy imaging equipment, the personalDV and DeltaVision Core systems, for enhancing live and fixed cell imaging applications.
The microscopy systems incorporate a number of new features such as the Multi-line TIRF imaging, X4 Laser Module, UltimateFocus and InsightSSI. The UltimateFocus is a hardware-based autofocus, while the InsightSSI is a solid-state illumination component.
The company has also extended its DeltaVision|OMX portfolio by introducing the new DeltaVision|OMXSR microscopy system. The DeltaVision|OMX is an advanced, high-resolution microscopy device that provides improved optical resolution. This superior resolution allows microbiologists to study microscopic organisms that are difficult to analyze with standard microscopy techniques.
Applied Precision’s Senior Product Manager, Ian Clements, informed that the DeltaVision|OMX SR system generated a good response from the scientific community, who were able to produce information that was previously unavailable. He added that the company is happy to provide a cost-effective solution that provides enhanced accessibility to scientists.
The company has distributed and installed a number of DeltaVision|OMX microscopy systems in Asia, Europe and North America.
Applied Precision offers sophisticated analysis, measurement and microscopy imaging devices for the original equipment manufacturers and life sciences industries. The company has been honored with a number of awards and has also won the Deloitte & Touche Washington State Technology Fast 50 award five times. The company was also acknowledged for its financial growth. The company operates a network of sales facilities across Asia and Europe and its headquarters is based outside Seattle, Washington, USA.
