Rofin FL Series High Brightness Fiber Lasers

From 25 to 29 October, Hanover will be the international stage for the sheet metal industry.

Right in the middle the laser specialist ROFIN, who will present at its stand in hall 11 (booth G154) the entire spectrum of solutions for sheet metal processing with high-power lasers.

Best beam quality for any task – ROFIN’s fiber laser family:

The ROFIN FL Fiber Laser Series are absolutely multifaceted tools and display their strengths particularly when cutting and welding. They are characterized by high efficiency and a beam quality that can be adapted to the specific processing task.

Through the development of more powerful pumping modules and optimized fiber laser modules, ROFIN is now capable of generating 2.5 kW of laser power from just one fiber laser unit and therefore offers the most powerful fiber laser units on the market.

At the show, ROFIN presents FL 050 C, a 5 kW compact model consisting of only two units. The compact version is designed for easy integration into existing systems.

New diode laser – extended range of applications:

At EuroBLECH, ROFIN‘s fiber-coupled multi-kilowatt diode laser will be presented in the new HQ version (High Beam Quality) for the very first time.

With an output power of 4 kW and a 600 µm fiber, the DF 040 HQ perfectly complements the DF Series as a cost-efficient tool for keyhole welding in addition to brazing and surface treatment that require higher beam quality. For multi-stage operation two switchable fiber outputs are optionally available.

The modular design allows flexible power scaling, ensures high availability, and ease of maintenance. Further user-friendly features include industry standard control interfaces are offered for integration into production systems and a remote access for diagnostics.

ROFIN’s Profile Welding System – process safe laser welding of tubes and profiles:

A system solution for tube and profile welding (PWS) that can be combined with either CO2 or fiber lasers, rounds off ROFIN’s presentation at EuroBLECH. The PWS is a complete laser welding system with an integrated process sensor for gap detection and tracking. The “Weld Sensor” allows the user to observe the welding process while the integrated controller corrects the welding position automatically. The PWS will be presented with a fiber laser for welding of profiles.

Endless possibilities – laser solutions from ROFIN:

From welding of electric contacts for e-mobility to cutting of CFRP, in addition to the latest products, ROFIN will share its extensive know-how in the field of high-power laser applications in the sheet metal industry. Application experts will be on hand to discuss specific manufacturing challenges and help recommend the most suitable laser and processing techniques to overcome different production tasks.
