General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems’ division, Axsys Technologies has introduced an economical version of its Cineflex V14 HD camera called the Cineflex V14Media. Thus, broadcast and electronic news collection organizations can now easily purchase this advanced system.
The Cineflex portfolio of camera systems has been utilized to take striking, clear images from productions and events such as Transformers movie of Paramount Pictures, Planet Earth series of Discovery Channel, the 2010 Winter Olympics and the 2010 World Cup.
The Cineflex V14Media is equipped with new, economical, HD equipment called the Ikegami HDL-F30 that provides the same accuracy and stability of the V14 HD version. Its 5-axis gyro-stabilized gimbal assures accuracy and stability of the images to be captured in all conditions, including sea, air and other adverse environment. The camera system comes with exchangeable wide-angle and long-range lenses for improved cinematography purposes.
