FLIR Systems Releases ChromaNox Security Cameras with EMCCD Technology

Developer of lowlight and thermal security cameras, FLIR Systems announced that it has launched the new ChromaNox series of EMCCD security cameras. The ChromaNox series cameras include sophisticated electron multiplied CCD (EMCCD) technology.

ChromaNox Security Camera

The ChromaNox cameras come in an SXGA resolution of 1280x1024 pixels and in a VGA resolution of 640x480 pixels. The cameras are also available in monochrome and color variants.

The ChromaNox cameras provide enhanced image quality in various lighting levels ranging from dark starlight to bright sunlight conditions. They also feature the proprietary image processing algorithms that bring out the hidden image information in demanding environment conditions.

The ChromaNox cameras function in a diverse temperature range of -40°C to 71°C and assure reliable functioning in adverse locations. The camera’s C-mount lenses allow long-range observation and close situational awareness in lighting levels.
