Confocal z-stack Recording of Optical Tweezer from JPK

This video shows the recording of z-stack with optical trapping and manipulation of a polystyrene bead in JPK Instruments' NanoTracker™ optical tweezers system. A bead is optically trapped and relatively fixed to the sample chamber. The parallel z-movement of the sample is possible during the recording with the help of z-positioning system of the NanoTracker™. The relative position of the particle and the flkuorescent cell sample remains constant and in the reconstruction and thus bead appears in its spherical shape.
