Independently Controlled 2 in 1 Laser Engine – Qioptiq’s iFLEX-Gemini

Pacer offers the Qioptiq’s iFLEX-Gemini 2-in-1 laser engine that features two lasers and one combined output. In this dual-line laser engine, each laser is controlled independently and both wavelengths are integrated in a single co-axial output beam through a single-mode kineFLEX fiber output that maintains polarization.

The iFLEX-Gemini is compact, portable and user-friendly, and was initially developed to replace large-sized gas lasers. The rugged opto-mechanical design of the laser engine eliminates the need for laser re-alignment. The iFLEX-Gemini delivers a stable performance and can be easily incorporated into instruments. Thanks to its excellent design flexibility, each wavelength can be separately adjusted for modulation repetition rate and output power.

Diode and solid state lasers supplied by Qioptiq are highly reliable and have been designed for the most challenging of applications. The laser modules are durable, have low amplitude noise, and provide long term power stability.

Integrated with smart electronics, Qioptiq’s laser modules have TEC temperature stabilized control and can be installed easily. The robust plug & play solutions are designed with accurate and repeatable beam alignment so that it can be easily integrated during the manufacturing process and can also be replaced easily during regular service.
