Vidyo Inc. announced today that its mobile video conferencing solution was selected to be featured for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone. The VidyoMobileTM app delivers one-touch HD multipoint video conferencing over Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G wireless networks.

VidyoMobile scales to leverage the enhanced resolution of new devices such as the Galaxy S6, which has a 2560 x1440 pixel QHD display, enabling the first ever QHD resolution video conferencing on a mobile device. With VidyoMobile, Samsung Galaxy S6 users can take full advantage of the QHD display to bring details to life for a rich in-conference experience anytime, anywhere.

“VidyoMobile leverages the innovative features of the Galaxy S6 to bring the highest quality video conferencing experience to users in the home, office, or on the go,” said Eran Westman, CEO, Vidyo. “As a leader in the global smartphone market, Samsung will give millions of users an easy, high performance means of connecting to Vidyo’s industry-leading visual collaboration platform and we are pleased that Samsung has chosen to feature VidyoMobile in the Samsung Galaxy Apps store.”

Vidyo will be demonstrating integration with Flow, a Samsung technology for seamless transition of applications and data across devices in the Samsung booth during Mobile World Congress 2015.
