Developer of custom imagers and digital cameras, Lumenera has announced the expansion of the Ottawa manufacturing facility in order to meet the high demand for customized cameras. In addition, the company manufactures cameras for the astronomy and medical fields.
The expansion of the Lumenera’s Ottawa facility will increase the production of cameras by 23%, and maximize the production space by 70%. The high demand for the company’s customized camera services is the main reason for the expansion of the facility.
Lumenera’s Manufacturing Manager, Rob Sample stated that the company is pleased to increase the production of cameras. He added that the expansion would result in enhancing the turnaround time and efficiency of the company.
