Advanced Applied Adhesives
Advanced Applied Adhesives (AAA), located in San Diego, California, is a technology-driven
supplier of high-performance specialty adhesives for the microelectronics industry.
Its major product lines include a variety of silver/glass and polymeric (both
conductive and non-conductive) die attach adhesives for ceramic, lead frame
and laminate semiconductor package applications.
The company was incorporated in 2002 by the founders of Quantum Materials,
Inc. (QMI), a leading manufacturer and marketer of die attach materials that
was acquired by Dexter Corporation in 1997. QMI's success was due, in part,
to it's ability to provide immediate technical on-site service to customers
in South East Asia. This on-going critical need is now provided through AAA's
unique relationship with Assembly Packaging Technologies (APT), Singapore, founded
by ST Tay, former Managing Director of QMI Asia.
In September 2003, AAA acquired a 32,000 square foot world-class specialty
chemical manufacturing facility from Honeywell Electronic Materials Division.
For over 25 years this facility has supplied quality products to major semiconductor
manufacturers throughout the world and their assembly subcontractors.
With over 30 years of adhesive manufacturing and business management experience,
large production capacities and a reputation for reliability, quality and unique
products, Advanced Applied Adhesives is prepared to be the industry's supplier
of choice.
