This lightweight cable deployment system has been designed for mobile fiber optic installations. The reel system is suitable for applications that necessitate rapid deployment and retrieval, especially in complex environments.
Timbercon's MDRS is made up of lightweight, durable and high-impact glass reinforced polymer materials that are resistant to rust. It is available in five configurations such as 100M, 300M, 500M, 750M and 1000M. A retractable crank and handle system facilitates simplified operation. The MDRS design is constructed in a way that surpasses all MIL-R-3241E requirements.
The modular design is ideal for operations that require cables to be deployed, reeled and stored in tight spaces. The MDRS enclosed in an optional carrying case is easily portable. Timbercon provides a deployment cradle, a reel backpack and tripods for different reel sizes.
The Key Account Manager, Nolan Pitts said that there is complexity involved with the rapid deployment and retrieval of fiber optic cable in extreme environmental conditions. Compared to traditional reels, Timbercon's MDRS ensures better application with improved portability.
