3M Releases 32-Inch Multi-Touch Display with Projected Capacitive Technology

Advanced touch-screen technology provider, 3M Touch Systems has released the C3266PW, a 32” Multi-Touch Display that offers a wide angle viewing of 178°.

Developed for applications accessed by multiple users, the high-performance, rugged display with a 1080p HD LCD screen helps create a rich interactive experience.

Well-suited for interactive table and wall solutions, the ultra-wide display uses 3M Projected Capacitive Technology with 10-finger capability that registers 10 simultaneous touch events across 6000 sensing locations in a quick respond time of 12 ms. The anti-stiction coating of the 3M Projected Capacitive Technology sensor allows for static-free operation across the screen, while the non glare, ultra-wide screen allows off-axis viewing.

The 2.6” metal chassis housing with a 200 mm VESA mount allows for easy integration into walls and on flat surfaces.

3M’s Projected Capacitive Technology has cleared Windows 7AQ for over 10 touch points. The company provides MT7 drivers for Linux and Windows XP operating systems.
