The 42”, 47” and 55” HDTVs have a refresh rate of 240 Hz scenes per second (SPS), contrast ratios of 10,000,000:1 and additional zones of Smart Dimming. The 240 Hz SPS helps in offering blur-free, sharp images. Vizio has increased the contrast ratio from 2,000,000:1, which was present in the previous XVT series, to 10,000,000:1.

The 32” and 37” Edge Lit Razor HDTVs have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and create a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. Vizio has also increased the contrast ratio of these HDTVs from 50,000:1 to 1,000,000:1. The TV screens have a VIA platform, which contains Bluetooth remote control and dual band 802.11n Wi-Fi. The remote control also features a QWERTY keyboard.

The HDTVs offer greater versatility for a number of sources such as gaming, portable devices and disc players. The 42”, 47” and 55” HDTVs have five HDMI inputs while the 32” and 37” televisions contain four HDMI inputs.

The XVT Series uses SRS TruSurround HD audio processing that produces virtual surround sound. The SRS TruVolume in the HDTVs removes volume variations that normally occur when surfing from one channel to another. All XVT HDTVs have slim and sleek profiles.
